Aftercare Support

Departure planning, aftercare and onward referral are part of our structured programme.  The development  of an appropriate package of aftercare and support takes  place in the final phase of the treatment episode.

Our aftercare consists of one to one psychotherapy, weekly 'closed' therapy support group, ear acupuncture drop in crisis support group. Offering a range of aftercare to clients enables them to maintain the positive changes they have made.

 

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

 

Weekly individual therapy is available to clients who have completed the structured day treatment programme.  Clients who have not attended the programme may also apply for weekly individual psychotherapy.

 

CLOSED THERAPY GROUP

We provide a therapy group that supports people as they re-engage with education and work. This group runs on Thursday evenings and clients commit to a minimum of 12 weeks.

 

TRAINING, EMPLOYABILITY AND LIFE STYLE MANAGEMENT

This service provides training and employability/meaningful activity support for our clients. Our training department facilitate access to capacity building opportunities in order to promote creativity, personal expression, independence and self-reliance. It provides a range of activities - structured and unstructured, vocational, creative, recreational and therapeutic - across a wide range of subjects and at as level and format that best suits each client in accordance with their IDP (Individual Development Plan).

The long-term outcome is to empower clients to maintain independence build on the positive changes they have made and reach their potential.

 

EAR ACUPUNCTURE AND DROP IN GROUP

We provide weekly ear acupuncture and drop in group for clients who have finished the day programme. This evening gives clients a space in which to discuss how they are and what they need support within a structured safe and supportive environment.
