Auricular Acupuncture

This procedure consists of the insertion of up to five, small, fine sterile stainless steel needles under the surface of the skin on specific sites in the outer ear (see below for example) and is carried out by a NADA Practitioner in sessions that can last up to 45 minutes.

Shen Men – This point alleviates anxiety. It controls nervousness and has a general relaxing effect it helps to bring the heart energetic into balance for a conscious self. Impatience and moodiness gives way to joy and calm.

Kidney – This alleviates toxicity in the kidneys from chemical use. As a source or root energy, it is related to the life force and longevity. Fear is the associated temperament.

Liver – This point alleviates toxicity in the blood and liver. This energy is known to keep everything running smoothly. Stabilizes impulsive behaviour and mood swings. Anger is the associated temperament.

Lung - This point alleviates toxicity in the immune system, respiration and skin function. This is a nourishing organ in the very balance of the life force itself. Sadness is the associated temperament.
